Strength distribution in a Palehumult soil produced with agricultural machinery traffíc

With transducer cells buried in the soil strength transmission produced by tractor pressure on a Palehumult was investigated. Measures were taken in the four seasons of a year. Bearing capacity and internal cohesion was determined from not altered soil samples. The soil water contents is decisive in strength transmission. During winter in soil layers with low hydraulic conductivity, neutral tensions are presented. When bearing capacity and aggregation increase, strength lines reach less depth and the concentration factor diminish. The concentration factor decreases when the traffic frequency increase, this was more notorious while drier is the soil.
