Hydropolitical vulnerability and resilience along international waters : Latin America and the Caribbean

Water is a unique and vital resource, for which there is no substitute. In Latin America and the Caribbean, major rivers, lakes, and aquifers are shared by two or more countries. The region is characterized by the greatest availability of freshwater resources.
