Application of Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis to the Selection of Software Measures
Abstract: In this research we propose the application of a multi-criteria decision analysis to make documented and transparent decisions about software measures’ selection. The Pareto’s dominance method was utilized to narrow down the initial measures’ list. The multi-attribute value theory was applied for ranking the final set of measures. As a result there was eliminated about 40% of the initial measures and the final measures’ list was ranked.
