PHOSPHORUS DYNAMICS EXTRACTION ON WHEAT GROWING IN DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENTS

Techniques supported on nutrimental extraction patterns are useful to associate nutrient uptake with fertilizer requirements and to make comparisons among crop cultivars by their fertilizer assimilation efficiency. Most of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) research on this topic is related to fertilizer crop response. In this study the phosphorus extraction patterns of four wheat experiments grown under different soil conditions and management were represented by statistical models. Results showed that the decrease of phosphorus in leaf and stem after maximum accumulation was only a part of total phosphorus accumulated in the head, and that the quantity of stem phosphorus lost during the lowness period was highly superior to that lost by the leaf.
