Organizing popular theatre: the Laedza Batanani experience 1974-1977
Based on experience gained in four Laedza Batanani campaigns in Botswana, this booklet explains the planning, running and evaluation of community development programmes using drama and cultural activities - Popular theatre uses local language, deals with local problems, is performed free of charge in public places by local people. It includes story-telling, singing, poetry and dance. It should be combined with other methods of extension education such as discussions, demonstrations, etc.
