Report on consultations with governments on the establishment of regional centres for training in aerial surveys
The purpose of this report is to carry further the study of the possibilities of establishing a clearing system within a payment union between the African countries. the recommendations of the report of the expert group fall into two categories. The experts endorsed the suggestions of the Triffin report on the negotiation of African economic charter with an appropriate section on monetary co-operation. Triffin report concerning an African payments union with a voluntary clearing system limited to convertible currencies earned by member countries.
