Financing of the programme for infrastructure development in Africa (PIDA)
This report has been prepared on the basis of various study reports (diagnostic, macroeconomic policy perspective, strategic frameworks and programs) which list is attached as Annex, carried out for the four sectors,Energy,Transport,Trans boundary water and telecommunication/ICT. This report consolidates the outcomes of the work and consultations of all stakeholders and involved parties of the process during 18 months. This report encapsulates what Africa needs to do to capitalize its potential by daring investing in its regional infrastructure. It is submitted to the Eighteenth Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union for adoption.
