Distribución y status del halcón de Eleonor (Falco eleonorae) en las Islas Canarias)

In this paper we present the results of a census on the Eleonora's Falcon carried out in the Canary Islands, during the summer of 1987. The population, located in the islets of Montaña Clara, Alegranza and Roque del Este, has been estimated in 66 breeding pairs. The number of individuals seems to mantain similar respect to the census realized in 1983. Single individuals has been recorded in the last years on the islands of Graciosa, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Tenerife and El Hierro,
