EVs have been attributed functions in several biological processes like cell-to-cell communication, response to nutrient availability, morphological transitions, or modulation of the host defence mechanisms. Here we show extracellular vesicle production from several wine yeasts in synthetic grape must. We characterized these EVs by EM, and both EVs and vesiclefree supernatant (VFS) by proteomic analysis.
