Adoption of recommended maize technologies in Mbeya Region of the Southern highlands of Tanzania
This study was undertaken in order to document the level and rate of adoption of improved maize technologies in Mbeya region in the Southern Highlands of Tanzania. The study had the following objectives: to investigate the rate and sequence of adoption, to examine some characteristics of adopting and non-adopting fumers, to examine the characteristics of technologies that promote adoption, and to draw implications for research, extension and policy.
