AIDS article: thank you
Among the many comments on the cover story on AIDS: Red ribbon agriculture in Spore 82 is this one from Dieudonné Mbogning (BP 625, Douala, Cameroon), who says that the article was much in demand among the readers he provides with Spore. 'Agriculture is not just about cultivating the soil. The effect of AIDS on agriculture has been disastrous. Maybe we can continue to hope for the discovery of a vaccine or a drug, or to count on herbal medicine from, for example, the plant Ancistrocladus korupensis grown in the Limbe botanic gardens. But we must still be careful: abstain, or be faithful, or be protected.'
