Productivity and health parameters of small ruminants in villages of The Gambia

Presents results of analysis of productivity and health data collected on small ruminants in four locations in The Gambia during a twelve month period and an assessment of the prevalence of trypanosomes, strongyles and coccidia infections. Examines liveweight of sheep and goats of different sex at different ages, growth rates in sheep and goats of different ages during the early and late dry seasons, prevalence of strongyle infestation in small ruminants of different ages during the wet season.
