Isolates of Pseudomonas syringae phylogroup 2 and Pseudomonas viridiflava phylogroup 7 Genome sequencing and assembly

These Pseudomonas syringae phylogroup 2 and Pseudomonas viridiflava phylogroup 7 strains were isolated from bacterial stem blight-diseased alfalfa (Medicago sativa) plants from the Western and Midwestern United States. These sequences can be used to investigate virulence genes contributing to bacterial stem blight, and for comparison to other Pseudomonas syringae and Pseudomonas viridiflava strains isolated from other hosts.
