36th annual detailed technical report 1982-83
The results of the studies carried out during 1982-1983 by the Central Coffee Research Institute in the fields of agricultural chemistry, soil chemistry, agronomy, agricultural economics, statistics, botany, plant improvement and plant protection are reviewed. In the discipline of plant physiology studies were carried out on waste utilization, effect of growth regulators on yield, hastening of fruit ripening, caffeine metabolism, drought resistance and on control of root diseases, and on the effect of certain antitranspirants, chemicals and mulching on control of water, during drought periods.
