Use of Gibberellic acid to change the seasonal fruiting pattern of arabica coffee in Kenya
En Ruiru Kenya hay dos épocas de cosecha de café. El estudio se hizo con el fin de saber si el ácido giberélico aplicado después del período lluvioso podía retardar la iniciación de las yemas florales, con el fin de obtener una sola cosecha. Los resultados indican que el AG no modifica el carácter estacional de la fructificación pero si aumenta el vigor y desarrollo de las ramas y retarda la floración.
