A dieback of coffee in Kenya
Symptoms of a bacterial dieback of coffee, that has caused substantial losses on several estates in the Solai Valley, are described. Based on biochemical characters and symptomatology, the causal organism is identified as Pseudomonas syringae and is distinguished from Pseudomonas garcae. Investigations revealed certain etiological aspects of the disease
