CATIE in the American tropics
The paper offers the experience of CATIE (Tropical Agriculture Research and Education Centre), in order to achieve effective and efficient cooperation, that is, by extending to the Caribbean countries a postgraduate teaching programme, research on agricultural production, natural resources management, and technical assistance.
