Beekeeping in Florida

The paper considers the State of Florida as part of the Caribbean by virtue of its locations. Then, it refers to the beekeeping industry, honey production and pricing, and problems and constraints like intense urbanization and reduction in a number of beekeeping locations. It highlights that traditionally, Florida has had strong leadership in its beekeeping associations. Finally, it explains that Florida beekeepers are fortunate to have the assistance of several governmental agencies. (MIBA)
