A clarification on the existence of Rhizophora species along the Pacific coast of Central America

It is proposed that the Rhizophora species found in the mangrove forests of the Pacific coast of Central America are R. racemosa, R. harrisonii and R. mangle. The morphological characteristics of the Rhizophora multi-flowered species found along this coast are practically undistinguishable from previous descriptions of R. racemosa and R. harrisonii inflorescences.
