On-farm fertilizer/pruning trial of traditionally grown cacao, Theobroma cacao L. in St. Catherine

This report gives a description, analysis and comparison of established and traditionally managed cacao plots subjected to six varying treatments of pruning and fertilization. The trials were begun in june, 1993, at three locations (Top mountains, Jubilee and Hampshire) in the Parish of St. Catherine, Jamaica. A 2x3 factorial design was used to determine the interaction of fertilizer and pruning.
